A Bespoke Birth Experience

Our midwives lead your labor with a hands-on, supportive approach, acting as your clinical advocates in a premier South Bay hospital. You have the freedom to move, labor in the positions that feel right, and make informed choices about every step, supported by a team that already knows you from your prenatal care.

Our Delivery Model & Safety Protocols

  • Premier birth location: We attend births at a premier South Bay hospital, providing a comfortable experience with full hospital resources.
  • Immediate OB/GYN collaboration: While our midwives lead your delivery, our three Board-Certified OB/GYNs, including Dr. Jamie Lipeles, are available for immediate intervention if required.
  • Hydrotherapy and advanced comfort: Natural pain management and movement-based labor support, with full support if you choose an epidural.
  • The golden hour: We prioritize immediate bonding, skin-to-skin contact, and delayed cord clamping for an optimal start to life.

Supporting Your Birth Preferences

Whether you hope for an unmedicated physiologic birth or plan pain relief, your preferences guide your care. Our childbirth education classes help you and your partner prepare, and your midwife will help you build a clear, flexible birth plan. If a condition such as gestational diabetes or high blood pressure in pregnancy develops, we collaborate with our physicians while keeping your preferences at the center.

If Plans Change

Birth can be unpredictable. If medical support or a cesarean birth becomes necessary, our integrated OB/GYNs step in seamlessly, and your midwife stays by your side to support bonding and recovery.

After Your Baby Arrives

Your care continues right away with an early first feed supported by lactation support, then postpartum care that watches for concerns like postpartum depression and pelvic floor dysfunction. Learn about the Cove Concierge Membership, meet our team, or see why families choose Cove.
